Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 inch ginger, finely grated
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, ginger garlic paste, and salt.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the grill to high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and grill them until they are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
- In a large pan or wok, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and fry until the onion is soft and translucent.
- Add the tomato puree to the pan and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
- Add the grilled chicken to the pan and stir to coat it evenly in the sauce.
